Portraits of power and efficacy
For those with short bowel syndrome (SBS), hours after hours of parenteral support (PS) are required to stay alive day in and day out. To help those in need learn about GATTEX—a truly transformative treatment—we had to break through the isolation by helping patients understand what is possible.
Every scar tells a story. For those with SBS, this is especially true. By telling the stories of real patients, we challenged the way others with SBS think about themselves and what they can accomplish. The hashtag approach was used across engagement to help patients identify as warriors and create their mantra.
Hearing from patients how this campaign made them feel was an incredible reward. Many were now eager to connect with others in the community who might also benefit from GATTEX.
